What to Pack
At Barker’s Pet Motel, we can supply your pets with everything they need for a comfortable stay including raised Kuranda dog beds, stainless steel dishes, bedding and toys.
We recommend that you supply your dog’s own food to avoid any disturbance to their digestive system. Please bring food in a hard-sided container labelled with the pet’s name and feeding instructions.
Cat food will be provided unless your cat has special dietary needs in which case you may wish to supply your own food.
Boarding
A Safe, Secure and Comfortable Home Away from Home
Our boarding facility offers spacious comfortable kennels, many boasting their own private patios allowing your dog the freedom to enjoy the outdoors at their own will.
The dogs also receive plenty of natural light through large windows above the kennels and our new state-of-art UV air purification system ensures your pet is breathing fresh, clean, purified air. In-floor heating provides warmth on cold winter nights. All of the dogs are provided with a mat and/or bed for sleeping that is easily removed for cleaning of pens on a daily basis.
The highlight of your dogs’ stay will be the large backyard offering countless adventures and plenty of natural shade on those hot summer days. 
The dogs are taken out a minimum of three times a day and will have the opportunity to socialize with other guests with the owner’s permission. They are carefully supervised by staff during these excursions. The yard is patrolled many times a day to ensure it is kept as clean as possible for your dog’s health. For those less social dogs, a solitary roam throughout the yard will be incorporated into their day.
